How it is important to service my bike?

It is extremely important to get your bike servicing /vehicle maintenance on a regular basis to have a smooth, longevity, and healthy long life.

Regular checks should be carried out to ensure the bike is running smoothly. In harsh conditions, may it be summer, winters or rainy season, the static parts can get affected. During the rainy season, due to the wet conditions on the road, there are some parts that get affected like bearings, chains, and brake pads. 

1k service- for new bikes only. After your first 1000 miles bring it in to get serviced, this will avoid some of the loose shavings of metal that is natural for a new bike to accumulate to enter the engine. This is your most important service.

After that, every 2.5k miles I bring my bikes in for oil changes, brake flushes, etc. That is every 2.5k miles for the rest of the bike's life.

Finally the 5k service. After every 5000 miles, bring the bike in for a 5k service. This is like putting the bike back to great condition after being worn out for 5000 miles.
